Let me start with the basics. My name is Shirley Guo—Guo Xueli in Chinese—22 years old, born in Zichang County, Shaanxi Province. I'm currently studying at Xi'an Jiaotong University, majoring in e-commerce with a minor in law. To sharpen my English and build a solid grasp of computer fundamentals, I've passed CET6, the C++ language exam in the National Computer Rank Examination (Level 2), and the database exam at Level 3—all without much trouble. The scholarships I've earned over the years reflect a commitment to continuous learning; after all, one easily falls behind without constant effort.

Personality-wise, I'm easy to get along with—I've got a solid circle of friends—and naturally optimistic, always believing that things will eventually work out. As for why I want to pursue graduate studies, there are a few key reasons.
