一份出色的Resume，是进入外企的关键敲门砖。但光有扎实的英语功底还不够，还得懂门道、花心思。如果简历错误百出、表达平庸、毫无针对性，投出去基本就是石沉大海。反过来，要是能让招聘方眼前一亮，机会自然会大很多。下面结合一个具体例子，把英文简历的要点拆开来讲。
Balance Sheet基本方法
选定目标岗位后，先仔细看招聘广告里列出的每一项要求，然后把自己的学历、能力、兴趣逐一对照，做一张“平衡表”。
比方说，有一则Marketing Management Trainee的招聘要求是这样的：
We are looking for a competent person to fill the captioned position:
- University graduate major in Marketing Management. Prepared to develop career in the commercial field
- Outgoing personality
- Able to communicate at different levels
- Good knowledge of PC operations
- Proficiency in written and spoken English/Mandarin
那么，你在简历里对应这些要求，可以这么写：
- University graduate with major in Marketing
- Ha ving actively participated in Business clubs activities and learned accounting and management
- Good in communication with people and like a lot of outdoor activities, know how to tackle with people from all walks of life
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
这个方法的好处是，自己先清楚这个职位是否适合，而自身条件是否匹配。更重要的是，明确了各项要求后，就能在简历里重点突出自己对应的强项，把卖点放在最显眼的位置，让招聘官一眼就能看到。
Work experience工作经验的陈述
工作经验是简历里最受关注的部分，措辞得当至关重要。刚毕业的学生哪来的工作经验？其实，读书时的兼职、实习、社会实践，甚至参与过的课外活动——比如协助出版校刊、组织活动、做展览宣传——都可以算作经验。关键是要有针对性，挑出与应聘岗位相关的项目重点介绍，必要时可以用summary的方式，让招聘官有更深入的了解。
下面这种写法就显得比较简陋：
1996/7-1996/8 General Clerk, IBM
1995/7-1995/8 Account clerks, Manley Toy Trading
1994/6-1994/8 Salesgirl, Esprit.
如果换一种表述：
Three years of job experience in different positions ha ve offered me opportunities to understand different job aspects.
- As a General Clerk (IBM), Accounts clerk (Manley Toy Trading), I ha ve learned how to prepare purchasing orders, place orders, handle accounting matter, check voucher,… also (Salesgirl, Esprit) developing the technique of selling, serving and stocking.
这样就能更好地突出个人工作经验，直接抓住招聘方的眼球。
Job objective 事业目标
很多求职者只在简历开头简单写上“Position Applied: Management Trainee”或“I am applying for…”。其实，利用这小小空间写出自己的事业目标（job objective），更能显示你对这份工作的热情和规划，让招聘官对你多一分留意。
比如这个不错的例子：
Job objective
To begin as a Marketing Management Trainee, with opportunity to advance to executive level and contribute to the development of firm.
